It all begins with an idea.
Jessica Lee is the Creative Director/Managing Editor of AVENUE Magazine, where she oversees the look and feel of its print and digital editions. During her tenure, Lee’s design work has consistently established strong relationships with luxury global fashion, beauty, lifestyle, home furnishings and real estate brands. In her role, she also spearheads the production of photo shoots; collaborating with stylists, photographers, hair and makeup artists to create an overall mood and concept. “I begin every new project feeling re-energized and inspired to embrace a completely unique idea, specific to the clients’ needs,” she says. “It turns into a dream project when there is enough time to research and conceptualize with unlimited creative freedom.” A New York native (which may explain her long-time fixation with coffee), her passion for design sparked at the young age of three, when she learned how to cut, paste and draw. Lee is also a graduate of the School of Visual Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design. She lives with her husband and two boys whom she adores. When it comes to work, she believes, “Good design is forever.”
